The Furlong Shopping Centre in Ringwood, Hampshire was acquired in 1995. The property was constructed in the early 1990s and comprised a Waitrose supermarket and 23 retail units in an open landscaped piazza. Mansford added value through rebranding the scheme, letting all vacant space and improving the quality of income through lease regearings. The centre was sold in 1999 to a UK institutional investor, generating a return on capital of 175%.
