Mansford, through a joint venture company, Brunswick Mansford, structured a development agreement with Swansea Council and the Welsh Development Agency (WDA) to develop a key £30m gateway site on Wind Street, at the entrance to Swansea, creating prior to onward sale, a 250,000 sq ft mixed use leisure development, with anchor tenants including a 116 bed Scottish & Newcastle hotel for Premier Lodge, an NCP Car Park together with a number of café bar and restaurant operators, with outline planning consent for a second phase including a 10 screen multiplex cinema, café bars and casino space which has been subsequently let to Aspinalls. Mansford sold its participation prior to commencement of the development.
