The investment comprised the purchase from Asprey & Garrard Limited of an office and retail property in Central London, leased back to the vendor and sub-let to the jeweller, T M Sutton Limited and Watches of Switzerland Limited.
The property comprised an imposing art deco style building with retail on the ground and basement levels and five floors of self-contained offices above. In total the property extended to approximately 7,248 sq ft.
The investment was successfully sold in 2004 to a private purchaser, generating a return on capital of 335%.
