Firm

Mansford invests in real estate and related businesses on an absolute return basis. Our primary interest is the preservation of our investors’ capital and strong absolute investment returns. We protect capital by careful identification, pricing and management of risk and the utilisation of structures which protect as far as possible our investors’ principal. We measure our success by outperforming absolute returns irrespective of the performance of the aggregate real estate market; this is demonstrated across 41 exited transactions producing an IRR of 30.9%.

Mansford was formed in 1995. Since inception we have, along with our investment partners, invested directly in income producing properties, real estate development projects, indirect investments and managed structured transactions totalling circa £1.8 billion.

Mansford successfully exited the UK market in 2006 and completed a number of relative value trades in Europe before returning to the UK market in 2009 with the closing of their third opportunity fund. Mansford develops strong, long-term relationships with business partners, counterparties and investors to work together to exploit the imperfections in real estate markets. Mansford invests only where they can add value and have delivered consistently outperforming returns since inception.
